i am the marimba king

i really can’t play any musical instrument. i once tried the flute, but i only pretended to know how to play it. it was in school during the 6th grade so i just played along and the teacher didn’t really notice i was faking it. whenever i’ve touched a guitar (electric, acoustic or even guitar hero) it’s only been to mess with it like an idiot. same with pianos, keyboards, etc. now, if i could learn to play a musical instrument i’d probably choose a marimba. that looks fun, sophisticated, yet somewhat retarded. i’d feel like i’m that guy you tip during your honeymoon or somewhere beachlike.

this past weekend i’ve come to the sad realization that it might be time for my semi-annual haircut already.

anyways in the past couple of months (besides flat out abandoning my tumblelog) my breadbox shuttle pc fried. i bought a new dell vostro 200n slim pc. sold my beloved black macbook (steve jobs is rolling in his grave, but it’s helping me get out of debt). went to cancun for a week. finished douglas coupland’s hey nostradamus! and salvador dali’s le mythe tragique de l’angélus de millet. currently i’m reading douglas coupland’s eleanor rigby.

oh and btw, monkosaurus is back. somebody needs to keep track of things. go phillies. make me proud guys.

meh. i wanted to post some pictures but telcel’s being a dick. i think it may be the weather. my mms have a hard time when it’s rainy/cloudy. also, i just noticed monkosaurus my flickr stream looks like shit on google’s chrome.
